SALE TIME

happy new year world!  i can't believe it's 2009.  none of us can ever believe it though right?  everytime a new year comes i say this same thing... so what are your resolutions/goals, etc?  i for one am attempting, Lord willing, to live a more balanced life.  i tend to one fall to one extreme or the other... if it's an exercise kick then i'm working out faithfully and other things fall to the wayside, when i'm preparing for a craft show, i stay locked up in my garage studio till 2 and 3 am while my house sleeps and create and then fall into bed and lay awake creating more in my head... 

and so, world, i'm thinking it's time to ask God to really help me balance a bit better... get rid of that hurried/rush/ panic feeling like i have to run 100 mph at all times, rush my kids out the door to get places, etc.  lately i have felt a release to not care as much about things that don't matter but that pretend to be things that matter... i have also felt a release to not prove anything to myself or anyone else.  do you know what i mean world?  i just feel like... here i am as i am and that is enough.  it's pretty peaceful here right now, inside.  i truly thank the Lord for it and pray it stays.
